Contractors attaining a HSE and IOSH approved Health and Safety industry body accreditation such as CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Accreditation Scheme), Construct Online or SAFE Contractor avoid tender disqualification, enjoy increased business and reduced insurance premium
CHAS, Construct Online and SAFE Contractor Accreditations require the following:
- Contractor Accreditation Monitoring: Competent person(s) in site monitoring to ensure continued compliance to standards laid out through the accreditations achieved.
- Construction Site Inspection(s): Site inspection(s) to monitor Health and Safety performance, including a written report of matters of non-compliance, areas of improvement and highlighting bad practice.
- CDM Coordinator Assessment: Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations in some industries have a requirement to facilitate good communication between client, designers and contractors to maintain a log and minimise Health and Safety risks.
- Contractor Management Services: A review of the management of the contractors undertaking work on our company’s behalf, including an assessment of Health and Safety compliance, safe systems of work, method statements etc. In addition the implementation of ‘Contractor Control Procedures’ whilst work is being undertaken on in/on your premises will be provided.
